When I went solo (after S.M. Nurse) in 1983, I only had a guitar, a bass and a four track cassette tape recorder. Sometimes I borrowed a rithmebox or a synth for a couple of days. The first three cassette tapes were created in that period. This (digital) album is a selection from those tapes, remastered by Ruud Lekx. I hope you enjoy it!

Glorious Din have a special place in my heart, being one of the non-massive post-punk bands I got into. The vocals recall Ian Curtis, and I really love the drums on all tracks. If Joy Division is what a normal person would put to add some moody postpunk flair to a soundtrack for a "cool" youth film, the heads would put down some Glorious Din. AtlantaDrifter
